How to Bake a Cake without Egg/Butter and even without a Microwave?

Ingredients

Maida – 250 gms
Ghee (desi) – 100 Gram
Sugar Powder – 2 cups
Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
Baking Soda – half teaspoon
Curd – Half Cup
Milk – Half cup
Vanilla Extract – Half teaspoon

Recipe

  1. Mix Maida, baking soda and baking powder together in a bowl
  2. Filter the mix 3 times to to mix everything well
  3. In a separate bowl mix ghee, sugar, curd and milk together and blend properly through a blender
  4. In the blended mix add maida mix slowly and beat everything together so that the mix becomes smoother and fluffy
  5. Add half teaspoon vanilla extract or any flavor of your choice
  6. Preheat the pressure cooker (5 litre) without whistle and ring for 5 mins
  7. Pour the batter in an aluminium pan and place the pan in pressure cooker to cook
  8. Set the cooking gas on high flame for 5 mins
  9. After that change the flame to medium and bake the cake for 10-15 mins
  10. After 10-15 mins. Check if the cake is baked by putting in a knife or a toothpick. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready else cook for 5 more minutes.
  11. Then put icing on cake to decorate, cut in pieces and serve the smooth-delicious cake.
